나에게 있어서 태도는 사실보다 더 중요하다.
지나간 과거, 교육, 돈, 환경, 실패, 성공, 다른 사람들의 시선이나 말, 행동보다도
태도는 더욱 중요하다.
외모, 재능 이나 기술보다
더 중요하다.

Attitude, to me,
is more important than facts.

어찌 아끼지 아니하겠느냐.

율법주의:
그분이 아닌 자신의 종교적 행위를 신뢰하는 것.

우리가 하고 있는 모든 거룩해보이는 행위들이 율법주의의 도구가 될 수 있다.
자기의(self-righteousness)에 빠져 실재(Reality)를 놓친다.

몇가지 정해진 규칙을 잘 지키는 것으로 전락된,
모양은 많으나 실재와 생명이 없다면, 끝.

Joh 5:37-40
너희는 이점을 놓치고 말았다. 너희는 그분의 음성을 들은 적도 없고, 그분의 모습을 뵌 적도 없다. 너희의 기억 속에 그분의 메시지가
하나도 남아 있지 않은 것은, 너희가 그분의 심부름꾼을 진정으로 받아들이지 않았기 때문이다.
너희는 영원한 생명을 얻을 수 있으리라는 생각에 늘 성경에 파묻혀 지낸다. 그러나 너희는 나무를 보느라 숲을 놓치고 있다.
이 성경 전체가 나에 관해 기록된 것이다. 그런데 내가 너희 앞에 이렇게 서 있는데도, 너희는 생명을 원한다고 하면서 정작 나에게서
그 생명을 받으려고 하지 않는다.
